Monthly Update – October 2024

I really need to start jotting down things I’ve done over the month because my memory is terrible and I forget everything easily. Guess it’s just part of getting older. (Goes to cry in a corner for being old)

Starting with the most important part: Chapter 3 is completely written! I’m currently in the translation and editing phase because, yes, I mainly write in Spanish. Sometimes, though, I switch to English when I get stuck. It work surprisingly well and helps me keep moving forward.

You’ll probably have the chapter ready by next week if all goes well :D. Little by little, we’re reaching a part I’m really excited to write (and it’s going to hurt, but it’s necessary).

I’m also writing down a couple of scenes to add to Chapter 1 (Yes, already. First draft things). But just like I did with Act 1, all of that will be added right at the end, when the Act is complete.

On another note, I finally figured out why the audio wasn’t playing on mobile. It was, in fact, a silly oversight on my part, lol. The only thing is that I have to adapt the music files since they’re so large that they buffer at the start of each one, which is a bit annoying. I’m testing a few things to fix this, though there are a couple of tracks that are still giving me trouble. I’ll get it eventually. For now, just getting the audio to play at all feels like a win :D

That’s all for now. Hope you have a great day and enjoy Halloween if you celebrate it! It’s not a big thing here, or at least not as enthusiastic as in other places. Traditionally, we had something similar, but those customs have faded over the years.

As for me, I’ll be dressing up as the same thing I dress up as every year: my twin brother.
